evergrow Christmas trees - trees even greener
Thu, 12/03/2009 - 11:12 — booclothing.ca
i am excited to write about an exciting new option for sustainable Christmas trees. evergrow is a vancouver-area project founded by two ubc forrestry grads. i have recently met Jeff, co-founder, who is a terrific guy who says he's been overwhelmed with the customer demand.
but how are they "eco-friendly"?
evergrow trees are potted, and live in a nursery throughout the year until they're ready to be decorated and enjoyed for the holidays. At the end of the season, the guys will come and pick up the trees and ensure they are cared for until the next year. Its a win/win!
